We've definitely turned a season this week, it's almost frosty in the mornings and the dark evenings already have the aroma of home fires burning to keep us cosy.
As we said last post, here at Hen Corner, we've got some exciting things coming up over the coming weeks and just want to keep you updated with a few changes.
1) This week we are very excited to be joining the team at the Country Living Christmas Fair at the Business Design Centre, Angel, from Wednesday 8th – Sunday 12th November. We are making Majestic Mango Chutney in the Country Living Kitchen and demonstrating Christmas Wreaths in the Country Living Corner every day (except Friday when we will be baking bread for you).
If you’d like to join us at the fair, the code SPK30 discounts tickets to £12.95 (usually £14.50). Come and say hello!
Due to this, the range of sourdoughs will be reduced again, as these take two days to make. We will still be baking our most popular Classic Sourdough - Organic White with 20% Wholemeal (Medium & Large)
2) Fridays 17th & 24th November - Open as usual
3) Friday 1st December - (Bakery Closed), just for one week we are on a break before a three week festive bake off with our traditional full range of Christmas treats, cakes, preserve & hampers.
As always, the best way to ensure that you get what you fancy is to place an order before 5pm on a Thursday, then we can bake your treats especially for you, ready for collection on Friday between 5-7pm.
