The clocks have gone forward, the blossom is out and Easter is on it's way...
We have a number of treats for bakery customers and their families;
1) Our Easter specials
Along with all our usual products, we will have:
Easter Apricot Couronne A beautiful crown to celebrate Easter.
Our classic sweet dough encases a filling of apricots and pecan nuts with a hint of orange, topped with flaked almonds and a sweet glaze.
Hot Cross Buns Soft, sweet & sourdough
A new recipe for this year, that we are really rather pleased with, containing more fruit, less refined sugar and simple wild yeasts…
2) Our Easter bakery days
Our Easter specials will only be available for two weeks:
- Friday 8th April (collection 5-7pm)
- Thursday 14th April (please collect between 5-6pm)
We won't be baking on Good Friday, so stock up on Thursday for fresh bakes all the long weekend!
3) Easter at Hen Corner
Many local families have enjoyed this fun filled event in previous years and, due to demand, we've added in the new date of Monday 18th April, see here for full details.
4) Our post Easter break!
We will bake as usual on Friday 22nd April, then will have a break on Friday 29th, returning again for 6th May...
If you'd like to try our bread, our whole range can be viewed by collection (e.g. White Bread, Blended Flours, Sourdough, Special Grains, etc.), and can be ordered directly from our online store.
Don't forget that all our loaves are made with ethically sourced ingredients and everything can be frozen if you don't think you'll eat it all straight away.
