Oh my, we baked a lot of goodies last week, thanks to all that ordered then to all the others who popped in to bag all the spares, we completely sold out!
The secret is to order by Thursday 5pm if you want to be sure to get your favourites...
One of our customers, an Olive Fougasse fan, said that she prefers the olive bread as a whole thick bread rather than the traditional fougasse shape (which was originally used to gauge the temperature of a hot wood fired oven - watching where the cuts and thick parts started to brown). So we've now given the option to order your fougasse as a round bread (baked in a tin) or the classic fougasse thrown on the stone - the choice is yours!
This is another reminder that we are closing the bakery during August to coincide with the school holidays and allowing us time to research some wonderful new breads en France!
So, we will be baking for these last two Fridays in July, not in August, and will open again on Friday 1st September.
As always, all our bakes can be frozen on day of purchase to be enjoyed at your leisure, so if you are staying around London for August, why not fill your freezer?!
Take a look at our website, we'll have lot of treats available this Friday for you to enjoy the whole week through. All products can be found by collection or by searching for your favourite. Don't forget that all our loaves are made with organic flour and ethically sourced ingredients...
Whilst our official opening times are 5-7pm, we do try to finish our baking earlier than that, so if you would like to pick up by a certain time, do leave a note on your order and we will try to plan our baking to allow that.
As always, please can we have your orders in by 5pm on Thursday.
Thanks and we hope to see you on Friday,
Sara & Katie
p.s. If you have any allergies or questions do leave a note on your order or get in touch ;)
